MEET THE VISIONARIES OF 2026

4C Marcella Showcase_01.jpg

4C Design

Designed as a home shaped by the mountain, 4C Group’s vision for Marcella brings sky, land, and a private oasis together through sculptural circular forms that emerge naturally from the hillside. A living roof allows the residence to blend into its surroundings, while natural stone, warm wood, expansive glass, water features, and a lush central courtyard create a seamless connection between indoor and outdoor living. Sweeping views of the Jordanelle Reservoir and surrounding peaks are framed throughout, resulting in a retreat that feels organic, immersive, and quietly extraordinary.

Alexander Design

The Posatoio by Alexander Design rises naturally from its hillside setting, stepping with the slope and responding thoughtfully to the land, light, and surrounding views. Curved forms, organic materials, and expansive glass echo the canyon walls and mountain terrain, while the garage is tucked beneath the home to keep the architecture connected to the landscape. From the warm lower level retreat and inviting entertaining spaces to the private Aerie House guest quarters and elevated Owners Retreat, every level is carefully composed to frame breathtaking 360 degree views and create a home that feels both sculptural and deeply rooted in place.

CLB

Ridge House by CLB Architects rises organically from a dramatic ridgeline, designed for an active family immersed in the golf and ski culture of the Wasatch Mountains. A solid board formed concrete plinth anchors the home to the earth, while a ribbon like upper volume wraps around a central garden courtyard and floats toward panoramic views of Mount Timpanogos, Jordanelle Reservoir, and Bald Mountain. Patinated copper, warm wood, and expansive glass balance strength with lightness, creating protected garden rooms, seamless indoor and outdoor living, and inviting spaces for recreation, wellness, and gathering. The result is a residence that feels both rooted and liberated, intimate within its courtyards yet expansive toward the mountain landscape.

Perched at the crest of Marcella at Jordanelle Ridge, Crescent House by Jory Walker Design Architects is a sculptural mountain retreat designed to follow the natural slope and embrace sweeping views of Deer Valley, Jordanelle Reservoir, Mount Timpanogos, Heber Valley, the Uintas, and the Skyline golf course. Its distinctive crescent form gently curves through the landscape, orienting every major space toward the scenery while bringing warmth, movement, and harmony to the home. Floor to ceiling glass, natural materials, expansive covered decks, and thoughtfully curved interiors create a seamless connection between indoors and out, while five bedrooms, a private primary suite, wine wall, theater, fitness room, and wellness spa offer comfort at every turn. Refined yet deeply livable, Crescent House is a peaceful expression of architecture, art, and landscape in perfect balance.

Process Studio

Process Studio’s design, The Perch, transforms a remarkable ridge top site into an elevated living experience that feels suspended above the surrounding landscape. Inspired by the natural boulders found on the property, massive sculptural forms anchor the home, create shelter from the exposed setting, and contain its private spaces. Above them, a long transparent volume brings the kitchen, dining, living, and lounge areas together while capturing expansive views in every direction. The result is a home that feels both protected and open, offering an extraordinary place to experience the beauty of the Wasatch and the valleys unfolding below.

Ezra Lee Design + Build

Ezra Lee Design + Build presents a bold contemporary mountain home shaped by its remarkable setting at Marcella. Strong horizontal rooflines, expansive walls of glass, warm wood, and grounded stone create a sculptural design that feels naturally connected to the land. Inside, refined materials and uninterrupted mountain views connect the landscape into every room, while thoughtful indoor and outdoor spaces create a home designed for both quiet retreat and meaningful connection.

Habitations Design Group

Aerie Ridge by Habitations is conceived as a private mountain sanctuary, a contemporary interpretation of Shangri La shaped by the land, sky, and distant views. Rather than imposing a single mass on the hillside, the home unfolds as a collection of low, sheltering pavilions that follow the natural contours of the site, with broad roof planes, deep overhangs, and gently upturned eaves lending a quiet Asian influence. A sheltered central courtyard, expansive glass, and generous terraces guide the experience from enclosure to openness, while locally inspired stone, natural wood, dark metal, water, and native planting create warmth and harmony. The result is a serene residence that feels protective and intimate within, yet open and expansive toward the surrounding mountains.

Jewkes Design

Jewkes Design’s vision for Marcella OV 313 is a sophisticated mountain retreat shaped by its hillside setting and oriented toward expansive views of Jordanelle Reservoir, Deer Valley, the golf course, and surrounding peaks. Built into the terrain, the home pairs bold cantilevered forms, anchored chimneys, expansive corner glass, and a soaring great room with layered spaces for gathering. Covered dining areas, fire features, a Zen garden, and an infinity edge hot tub extend the living experience into the landscape, while a private spa, gym, golf simulator, show garage, and generous guest suites balance restoration with recreation. At its center, a sculptural stair and three sided fireplace create a warm and memorable heart for modern mountain living.

TILT 23

CANOPY by TILT 23 Studios reimagines the mountain home as a setting for the experiences, stories, and memories that give architecture meaning. Shaped by sweeping views of the mountains, water, and golf course, the three level residence turns, opens, shelters, and reveals the landscape through a sequence of spaces that encourage gathering, retreat, play, and discovery. At its heart, an expansive garden level weaves vegetation, water, pathways, bridges, and places of pause through the architecture, while skylights, trellises, screens, and overhead structures treat light as a living material that changes throughout the day and seasons. Designed to feel intimate for everyday life and expand when family and friends return, CANOPY creates a home that remains connected to nature, adaptable across generations, and rich with opportunities for shared experiences.
